Hey Suby, if you check in this image was processed in Lightroom which I know you really like. I've posted another here http://www.johnnyg.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Floating_Iris/1/ that was done in Apple's Aperture. I have to say on this image Lightroom wins but overall I prefer Apertture which says to everyone else that it's down to personal preference as always.
I still can't get the links to work !!

johnnyg: I hear that. Now that I've changed jobs we need to get together. I'll be in and around Liverpool Street every day from the 11th, so if any of you guys are around lets do something.
I think I, too, like the other pic better, Johnny, but I can't tell you why. You guys are way beyond me when it comes to the technical stuff. Regardless, as I told Red Pen about his post today, I LOVE irises. They're one of my favorite flowers, so I like BOTH of these you've done!
The other picture is much brighter, I think I prefer it too because it's more vibrant.
You've compared your iris with Red Pen's picture, her's is of a Bearded Iris so they aren't the same sort of flower. This one of yours is grown from a bulb.
johnnyg: Your right this is grown from a bulb but the only comparison is that they are both Iris's and I liked her's more then mine.
